Following

I thought I'd got the hang of 'following' blogs. I follow quite a few blogs, where people have similar interests to mine but recently I noticed that my identity pic was not showing up on the blogs I followed. I have now found out how to rectify this problem, so if I've just 'popped' up as one of your followers - hello! I've probably been following you for ages but it hasn't shown on your blog. I've still got a few more blogs to sort out but I'll get there now I know what to do.
Don't we learn something new everyday?

  1. Spill the beans then, please. I know that my picture doesn't show up on some blogs but it does on others. I've gone into dashboards and all sorts of things and still it doesn't show. So any hints would be appreciated greatly.

  2. Can I be cheeky and ask if I'm one of those blogs you follow?

  3. Sft and Toffeeapple - Yes I'm following your sites. I've got about half way through my list and I can get my pic on your followers bit but your blog still does not show up on my reading list on my dashboard. The dashboard says I can put each URL on there but that would take a month of Sundays. To get my pic on your blog to show that I am following I click Join this Site (situated above your followers) and then I click to follow publicly.
Toffeeapple - do you have a blog - if so I can't find it.
Hope this helps - keep posted.

  6. It was a bit of a mystery for me for a while. To follow a blog you click on Join this site, like you say. Then you right click on their address bar, copy the address, go to your own blog, click on the tools symbol on the list of blogs you follow, this opens up a new window, and you paste in the new blog into the list, and save.

I'm not sure about the reading list on the dashboard, I have a few in there but I don't bother looking at it now. I just read those which are on my blog, and flit about reading what others are reading. Sometimes I end up with about ten pages open.
